Platform fee
10% platform fee
We apply 10% of the amount left after Stripe's processing fee on each successful charge (tips, subscriptions, unlocks, shop sales, bookings, and similar). Creators receive everything after those two deductions.
Payment processing (gateway)
2.9% + $0.30
Payment processing is provided by Stripe. Each successful charge incurs a fee of 2.9% of the amount plus $0.30. This is standard for card payments and is applied before the platform fee.
Payout safety period
10-day hold
Earnings from tips, subscriptions, and content unlocks are held for 10 days before they become available to withdraw. This protects everyone from refunds and chargebacks. After that window, you can withdraw from Earnings on Reweyou (full balance or a custom amount). Funds route to your bank through your connected payout account; you only open Stripe if you want to update bank details.
How it works
When a supporter pays $10.00: (1) Payment processing takes 2.9% + $0.30 ($0.59). (2) The platform fee of 10% is applied to the remainder ($0.94). (3) You receive the rest ($8.47). All amounts are shown in your Earnings dashboard with a full breakdown per transaction.
